Our non-profit organization is focusing on helping children in Burkina Faso, more specifically in the city of Koudougou. Burkina Faso is considered one of the poorest countries in the world. Local children are often malnourished, yet they have to work as hard as adults. Due to extreme poverty, parents can’t afford their children not to contribute to families’ livelihood. Therefore, we would like to bring back, at least partially, childhood to these children and hope for a better future as well.
It is also our intention to be as transparent as possible, to provide donors with requested information about recipients, and to forward 100% of all donations for project purposes. For this reason, we all Czech volunteers decided to work for free and pay the minor costs needed for running this non-profit organization from our own resources.
One of our goals is to support local self-sufficiency and sustainability.
